The Ann Bancroft Foundation Grant Application is open for 2022 program. Ann Bancroft Foundation is accepting applications for its grants programme, which aids Minnesota girls annually by providing them with inspiration and encouragement to dream larger. In order to help girls discover who they are, develop their confidence and self-esteem, and embrace and pursue their aspirations, ABF continues to provide support.
Any K–12th grade Minnesota resident who identifies as a girl, including those who identify as cisgender, transgender, gender non–conforming, or gender non–binary, is eligible to apply for a grant from the Ann Bancroft Foundation. Grants can be used to pay for participation fees, athletic equipment, dance classes, leadership training, outdoor and wilderness experiences, and cultural activities. The experiences that the Ann Bancroft Foundation award supports give candidates the chance to work as a team, develop strength and confidence, and push themselves further as they start to investigate the world around them through the lens of identifying their own abilities, values, and strengths.
The applicant must have a grant mentor (a trusted adult who can support her during the application process and throughout her grant activity, such as a teacher, coach, family friend, or youth group leader). The girl’s mentor cannot be a member of her immediate family (i.e., her mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandmother, or grandfather), the organiser of the activity, or an employee.
Deadline: October 1st, 2022
